Job summary

Saronic Technologies Inc. is seeking a Mission Operations Engineer to deploy, validate, and iteratively improve autonomous surface vessels. You will work in the Integrity & Performance element, supporting high-priority validation and reliability across DoD-aligned standards.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely, safe, and reliable mission execution. You will lead test planning, data collection, and post‑test analysis, while enabling field operations and continuous

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 1+ years of hands-on engineering experience (design teams and internships qualify)

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of structured field tests for vessel performance and autonomous navigation.
• Diagnose and perform real-time troubleshooting of autonomy, networking, and onboard hardware/software during tests.
• Own data logging and telemetry monitoring systems; ensure data integrity for post-test analysis.
• Support day-to-day operation of autonomous vessels and support craft; use telemetry to diagnose issues.
