Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a Software Engineer for its Maritime Division to own end-to-end software delivery for autonomous platforms. You will drive design, testing, and integration across software and hardware components.

You will mentor junior engineers, collaborate across teams, and travel to partner sites up to 20%. The role requires strong systems thinking, proficiency in C++, Rust, or Go, and eligibility for a U.S. Secret security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in robotics, mechatronics, CS, engineering, or related field.
• Extensive professional software engineering experience.
• Active U.S. Secret clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Empathize with end-users and drive solutions that balance their needs with constraints in a multi-stakeholder environment.
• Own software enabled solutions deployed to customers, optimizing for end-user value.
• Design and implement scalable software delivering capability beyond current platforms with clear evolution paths.
• Contribute to design and development of existing services to be reusable across Anduril products.
• Develop software for both robotic and non-robotic platforms across multiple tech stacks.
• Support vehicle and mission software delivery including full lifecycle testing, monitoring, and operation.
• Create test and simulation fixtures with software- and hardware-in-the-loop.
• Assist with vehicle manufacturing and deployment activities.
• Mentor Software Engineers from diverse backgrounds and collaborate across teams.
• Travel up to 20% to co-locate with end-users or other teams.
