Reach Velocity - Emerging Technology ?? ?? is seeking a Software Engineer, Autonomous Systems with 5+ years of autonomy or robotics software experience to develop production-quality autonomy algorithms for physical autonomous maritime vehicles.

The ideal candidate has deep C++ expertise, hands-on hardware deployment experience, ROS familiarity, and strong sensor fusion skills to advance perception, planning, navigation, and decision-making.

Qualificações

• 5+ years as an Autonomy Engineer or Robotics Software Engineer.
• Experience with embedded systems and software deployed on bare metal.
• ITAR eligibility required.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, test, and deploy production autonomy software in C++ for autonomous maritime vehicles.
• Develop algorithms for perception, planning, navigation, and decision-making.
• Integrate radar, cameras, and other sensor modalities through sensor fusion.
• Build and maintain local and global planners using map and sensor data.
• Optimize algorithms for accuracy, robustness, latency, computational cost, and reliability.
• Deploy and optimize software on constrained onboard compute (NVIDIA Jetson).
• Develop Python-based tools to accelerate testing, debugging, and development.
