Job summary

Saronic Technologies seeks a Mission Operations Engineer to deploy, validate, and improve autonomous surface vessels. You’ll join the Integrity & Performance team, driving field tests, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure high-reliability systems.

You will lead test planning, troubleshoot in the field, and help translate product requirements into validated objectives while supporting DoD-related standards and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 1+ years hands-on engineering experience in design or internships.

Responsibilities

• Develop deep understanding of vehicle hardware and software architecture.
• Lead planning and execution of structured field tests for autonomous navigation and sensor integration.
• Diagnose real-time issues in autonomy, networking, and onboard systems during tests.
• Implement testing solutions and safety protocols to maximize reliability.
• Own data logging and telemetry monitoring for post-test analysis.
• Contribute to RCCA and issue triage after field anomalies.
