Job summary

HavocAI in Rhode Island seeks a Demo Operations Specialist to lead demonstrations of Autonomous Surface Vessels. You’ll operate and maintain vessels, run field tests, and support deployments with engineers and customers in real-world maritime environments.

You’ll bridge hands-on execution with technical readiness, ensuring demos run smoothly, collecting data, and helping clients understand the value of our autonomous maritime systems. Travel up to 50% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Systems, or a related technical field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
• 2+ years of field operations, testing, or systems support, preferably in defense, robotics, or maritime settings.
• Strong technical aptitude with familiarity in hardware, software, and networking systems.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with comfort engaging customers and partners.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%, including multi-day field deployments.
• U.S. Citizenship; eligibility for DoD Secret Clearance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstration Leadership: Plan, prepare, and execute customer demonstrations showcasing HavocAI’s autonomy capabilities.
• Field Operations & Testing: Operate and validate ASV systems in diverse maritime environments.
• System Expertise: Develop understanding of vessel hardware, software, and payload systems.
• Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve real‑time system issues during demos.
• Data Collection & Analysis: Capture and document test and demo data for internal review.
• Cross‑Functional Coordination: Align field activities with engineering and mission ops.
• Customer Interaction: Represent HavocAI in the field with partners and military customers.
• System Readiness: Maintain vessels, support equipment, and test infra for demos.
