Job summary

Kinder Morgan, Inc. is seeking an Operations Coordinator at the Richmond Terminal to oversee start-up, control, and shut-down of marine product movements and daily terminal operations, ensuring compliance with environmental and safety standards.

You will coordinate scheduling with Phillips 66, manage field staffing, perform safety inspections, maintain records, and support emergency response and regulatory reporting.

Qualifications

• Two to four years related experience within the terminal industry is required.
• Knowledgeable of storage tank operations, piping-system operations, valves, pumping rates and pressures.
• Knowledge of marine transfers and tank farm operations procedures.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate marine transfer activities with Phillips 66 Richmond Terminal.
• Ensure safety inspections are performed and documented.
• Maintain inventory and operate within budget as defined by Area Manager.
• Oversee staffing requirements related to field operations.
• Assist with regulatory inspections by city, county, state and federal agencies.
• Perform lab analysis during off-hours and weekends.
