Job summary

Kinder Morgan Inc. seeks an Operations Technician to load/unload tank vehicles and monitor storage tanks. You will track temperatures and levels, operate pumps and valves, and support transfer alignments and maintenance tasks on site.

Responsibilities include participating in emergency response, following EH&S policies, and complying with site procedures. Overtime and outdoor work are expected in a team setting.

Qualifications

• Two/four year degree or equivalent experience.
• Military discharge, terminal Ops/Maintenance, or 5+ years general industry experience.
• Must obtain TWIC and pass drug/background checks.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload tank trucks, ships and barges.
• Record product temperature and levels in tanks.
• Climb tank stairs, operate valves, pumps and gauges.
• Assist with product transfer alignments (piping, pumps, valves).
• Perform or assist preventive and regular maintenance duties.
• Be a member of the Emergency Response Team.
