Job summary

Goodhue Boat Company is seeking a Full-Time Marine Technician at our Meredith, NH location to support the Service Manager in delivering exceptional marina services.

You will work with a team of skilled technicians to diagnose, repair, and detail a variety of boats, expanding your technical expertise while ensuring high customer satisfaction. This role includes overtime and ongoing training opportunities, with the goal of maintaining our award-winning customer experience.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail in diagnosing and repairing marine systems.
• Strong communication with customers and service team.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced marine environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues on boats.
• Remove and repair engines, transoms or outdrives.
• Disassemble units and inspect for wear, defects, and corrosion.
• Overhaul or replace carburetors, generators, distributors, starters and pumps.
• Install marine electronics and radios.
• Maintain certifications and document service work.
• Exceed customer expectations and maintain satisfaction.
