Job summary

Safe Harbor Marinas, LLC seeks a Marine Technician to inspect, service, and repair boats of all kinds. You will use diagnostic equipment to test engines, hulls, propellers, rigging, sails and navigational gear.

You will also install and test sanitation and refrigeration systems, cabinetry, electrical systems, and other vessel components. ABYC or manufacturer certifications are preferred; you must own tools, be able to lift 50 pounds, and work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
ABYC and/or manufacturer certifications preferred.
Must carry own tools and be able to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Inspect, maintain, and repair boats of all kinds.
Use diagnostic equipment to test engines, hulls, propellers, rigging, sails, and navigational gear.
Install and test sanitation and refrigeration systems, cabinetry, electrical systems, steering gear, and accessories.
Troubleshoot, test, repair, and replace vessel systems and components.
Possess knowledge of marine electrical, plumbing, and water systems.
