Job summary

Long Lake Marina in Maine is seeking a qualified marine technician to join our service team. This full-time position starts immediately and offers opportunities to pursue manufacturer certifications with support from the shop.

The role involves diagnosing and repairing a wide range of marine engines, coordinating with the Shop Foreman, and assisting in rigging and setup of motors and boats. Competitive compensation includes health insurance and PTO.

Qualifications

• Experience as a service technician is required.
• Motivated self starter with eagerness to learn and earn or maintain certifications.
• Driver's license is required; Mercury outboards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Keep Shop Foreman informed of ongoing service orders.
• Rig new motors and set up new sales boats and watercraft.

Long Lake Marina is hiring! Come join one of the Lake Region's top service teams! We are currently looking to hire a qualified marine tech. This is a full time position with job availability starting immediately.

We are looking for an individual that has experience as a certified marine technician. Continuing manufacturer education to earn and maintain certifications and work toward your masters can be provided for the correct candidate. This is a great opportunity to join a highly efficient and experienced service department full of amazing marine techs and office support staff.

Job Duties-

• Repairs and maintains boats and watercraft in marine service facility: Examines, diagnoses and repairs a wide range of marine engines.
• Checks in and keeps Shop Foreman informed of on going service orders
• Ability to rig new motors and set up new sales boats and watercraft
• Works closely with Shop Foreman and other certified technicians

Qualifications and Certifications

• Experience as a service technician
• Motivated self starter
• Eager to learn and earn or maintain certifications

Pay will be based on certifications and experience.
