Job summary

KPFF Special Projects Division seeks Structural Engineers/Certified Divers to work on port developments, marine engineering, ferry terminals, shipyards, and more. Roles involve hands-on design and project coordination on diverse, multi-disciplinary projects across the United States.

The successful candidates will participate in design-build infrastructure with a focus on heavy civil and waterfront facilities, requiring strong technical and client-service skills.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis.
• MS in Civil Engineering preferred with a structural emphasis.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience with underwater and topside inspection of marine infrastructure.
• Technical Report writing experience preferred.
• Candidates should be comfortable operating small watercraft.
• EIT is required; PE or SE preferred.
• Current ADCI certification card required.
• Ability to operate SCUBA and Surface Supplied Air.
• Travel required.
• Current First Aid, CPR, AED, Oxygen Administration Certifications.
• Current/Ability to pass ADCI Compliant Dive Physical.
