Job summary

KPFF Special Projects Division seeks Structural Engineers/Certified Divers to advance diverse port and waterfront projects, including ferry terminals and shipyards. You will contribute to design, inspection, and project delivery, applying marine structural expertise. Experience with underwater and topside inspections and diving readiness is essential.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis.
• MS in Civil Engineering preferred with a structural emphasis.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience with underwater and topside inspection of marine infrastructure.
• Candidates should be comfortable operating small watercraft.
• EIT is required; PE or SE is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Involved in a wide variety of challenging projects including port developments, marine engineering, ferry terminals, shipyards, and waterfront infrastructure.
• Develop and review structural designs, perform analyses, and coordinate with clients and project teams.
• Lead technical reporting, dive operations, and inspection planning as needed.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
