KPFF Consulting Engineers is seeking qualified Structural Engineers/Certified Divers in Seattle, WA. This role includes involvement in challenging projects like marine engineering and municipal structures. Ideal candidates have a BS in Civil Engineering, minimum 2 years' relevant experience, and ability to operate on SCUBA. Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience with underwater and topside inspection of marine infrastructure.
• EIT required; PE or SE preferred.
• Current ADCI certification card.
• Ability to operate on SCUBA and Surface Supplied Air.

Responsibilities

• Work on varied projects including port developments, marine engineering, and municipal structures.
• Provide exceptional client service.
• Travel required for project inspections.

Skills

Underwater inspection

Topsides inspection

Design experience in concrete, steel, and timber

Seismic design

Familiarity with non-linear push-over analysis

Proficiency in SAP2000, L-Pile, MS Excel, VBA

Education

BS in Civil Engineering (structural emphasis)

MS in Civil Engineering (preferred)
