The position involves assisting purchasing and design, preparing estimates for extra work, and promoting safe construction practices while maintaining positive working relationships across teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate with corporate management all aspects of the material acquisition, design, fabrication and on-the-job steel operation.
• Interface with engineers, designers, shop and field personnel and client representatives in all facets of managing projects.
• Assist purchasing and design departments in materials procurement.
• Prepare estimates/proposals for extra work requested by customers.
• Promote safe construction practices and positive working relationships.
