Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of four (4) years of sheetmetal experience or related craft experience in joiner, shipfitting, and/or carpentry.
• Nice-to-have: ability to set up and operate sheetmetal machines such as brakes and shears; pass a skill assessment test; ability to read marine blueprints; work from standard and metric specifications.

Responsibilities

• Fabricates and installs a variety of sheet metal such as ductwork, venting systems, main engine exhaust, metal containers and instrumentation panels. Plans and lays out work from blueprints, drawings, and other specifications, using shop mathematics.
