Job summary

William R Nash Group seeks a Sheet Metal Helper to install ductwork in commercial environments, including galvanized, stainless steel, aluminum, and duct board per drawings and tickets. You will handle field modifications, hangers, and grilles while maintaining safety and quality standards on-site in Tamarac, FL.

This is a non-exempt, full-time role with benefits. Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of sheet metal experience, own tools, and a readiness to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must always put SAFETY FIRST.
• 3 plus years of experience.
• Must own all hand tools needed to perform as a sheet metal mechanic per list provided at hiring.
• Must be a team player and take pride in all work.
• Must be able to work overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Install ductwork including galvanized, stainless steel, aluminum, fibrous duct board, spiral or round with specified connections.
• Install fire/smoke dampers per code and manufacturer guidelines.
• Layout and install mechanical equipment (AHUs, RTUs, fan coil units, exhaust fans, etc.).
• Read and interpret plans and specifications; inspect and test duct systems.
• Ensure safe, neat, and orderly work in accordance with job tickets and shop drawings.
