Job summary

Yamaha Marine in Kennesaw, GA is seeking an entry-level Marine Regional Sales Coordinator to support outboard and MRP sales teams. You’ll handle order entry, dealer records, territory updates, and reporting to help grow dealer relationships while training toward a District Marketing Manager role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent certification is required.
• 1–2 years of previous experience in a similar position; Yamaha Outboard and Marine Industry knowledge a plus.
• Must be computer literate, including experience with MS Excel, MS Word and sales software.
• Must be able to travel to various accounts, industry events, and dealer functions.

Responsibilities

• Provides sales support and status updates to outboard and MRP sales teams for order entry, monitoring inventory and shipment, review credit holds and dealer credit lines, and all paperwork to maintain dealer status.
• Assist in properly monitoring and servicing dealers to ensure satisfaction and open territory maintenance.
• Provide required reports and assist sales team to forecast dealer product needs based on data from dealers, market trends, and past years' sales.
• Review and maintain tracking information for all dealer sales programs and accounts, and communicate market conditions to sales management.
• Complete territory dealer lists, dealer call reports, expense reports, weekly recap, and itineraries; manage promotional line items; coordinate shipping/tracking.
• Assist with monitoring and disposition of damaged outboard inventories in the Unit Warehouses.
• Achieve corporate and territory goals within budget; approvals required on expenses.
• Assist and update the sales team with evaluation/tracking of sales programs and budgets; pursue new business leads from dealer inquiries.
• Assist sales team with prospecting and building dealer relationships; use Mapper program to support territory goals.
• Assist with implementation of promotional opportunities on the dealer network, including meetings, open houses and boat shows.
• Assist with sales training for dealers and participate in Yamaha's Sales and Service Seminars.
• Develop open lines of communication with strategic partners: Yamaha Boat Company and other divisions.
