Job summary

Yamaha Motor Corporation, USA is seeking a Marine District Sales Manager to lead our Marine team in a field role covering the Mid-Atlantic region. You will drive sales strategy, support dealers, forecast demand, manage budgets, and mentor a sales team while traveling to accounts and events.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent certification is required.
At least 3 to 5 years of previous sales experience; experience managing territory or sales team is a plus.
Must be able to travel to various accounts, industry events, and dealer functions.
Computer literate; experience with MS Excel, MS Word and sales software.

Responsibilities

Promote and sell Yamaha products and services within an assigned territory.
Manage territory by assisting Yamaha dealers to achieve goals and review dealer credit lines.
Pursue leads and develop relationships with dealers and customers to grow monthly business.
Forecast and develop strategies on future product needs based on dealer data and market trends.
Develop targets, budgets, and plan expenses within guidelines; provide dealer training as needed.
Maintain dealer information records and communicate market conditions to management.
