Job summary

Evotti Marine is seeking a Rail Subassembly & Component Fabrication Technician to prepare and assemble marine components on 1st shift. You will operate saw systems, bend parts, and perform deburring and labeling while ensuring parts meet design specs.

The role emphasizes accuracy, attention to detail, and safety in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Lift requirements and physical demands are noted, with standard PPE provided.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of fabrication/assembly/manufacturing experience.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Proficient reading of technical drawings, blueprints.
  • Familiarity with aluminum, stainless steel, and composites.

Responsibilities

  • Operate saw systems to cut aluminum, stainless steel, or composites to length/angle.
  • Form parts with tube and bar bending equipment to required radii.
  • Prepare parts via deburring, hole drilling, surface finishing, labeling.
  • Assemble prefabricated parts into mechanical subassemblies per drawings or work instructions.
  • Ensure subassemblies meet spec and pass fit/finish/function checks before downstream release.
  • Communicate with quality and assembly teams to resolve part issues.
  • Read job orders and cut lists to ensure correct materials and fabrication.
  • Support continuous improvement for quality, efficiency, and workflow.
  • Maintain build documentation accuracy across multiple builds.
  • Perform routine maintenance on shop equipment and keep area clean per 5S.

Skills
