Job summary

Weeks Marine seeks an Assistant Quality Control Manager for dredging projects along the eastern seaboard and Gulf Coast. The role leads the project Quality Control program, develops and aligns a project QC plan with policy, regulatory controls and contract requirements while monitoring effectiveness and recommending improvements.

Qualifications

• Degree in CM or STEM field with 3+ years of construction experience related to government contracts.
• Certification for Construction Quality Management for Contractors or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Act as Quality Control Manager at the work site to implement and manage the project specific Contractor Quality Control Plan.
• Developing project specific quality control plans.
• Implement the three-phase control system.
• Verify compliance with the Jobsite Safety Plan and EM-385-1-1 requirements.
• Document daily construction activities and test results in reports.
• Monitor the Testing/Inspection Schedule and ensure required testing is performed.
