Job summary

The Port of Everett is seeking a Project Engineer to assist with construction and infrastructure projects from planning through closeout. Under the Director of Engineering, you will support project management, scheduling, cost estimating, budgeting, scope development, design reviews, and field condition assessments.

Qualifications

• At least three (3) years of professional experience in civil engineering, construction, public works, or a related field.
• Familiarity with construction sites, field inspections, engineering design work, and project coordination tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day construction activities and monitor schedule and budget adherence.
• Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Attend permit review meetings and support senior project staff.
• Review plans, specifications, and technical documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare contract documents and track change orders.
