Job summary

Kokosing is seeking experienced Pile Drivers for roles in Hopewell, VA and Baltimore, MD. Operate pile drivers mounted on skids, barges, crawler treads, or cranes to drive pilings for retaining walls, bulkheads, and foundations of bridges and piers.

Candidates will perform equipment checks, handle heavy machinery, and work in a demanding outdoor environment. The position offers competitive hourly pay ranging from $26.00 to $32.00 with opportunities for overtime and advancement.

Qualifications

• Experience in marine pile driving operations including concrete pile, H-pile, and pipe pile.
• Ability to understand English and follow safety procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret operator instructions and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Operates hand and power tools as required.
• Performs pre-operational checks on equipment.
• Cleans, lubricates, and refills equipment.
• Drives pilings to support structures using pile driver head.
• Positions piling leads by hoisting; raises pilings into leads.
• Activates power hammers and raises/lowers drop hammers to drive pilings.
