Job summary

ORION is seeking an experienced Pile Driver/Crane Rigging specialist to support field operations at Marine project locations in Mobile, AL. You will assist with piling, hoisting, rigging, and dock construction tasks under supervision, following safety and environmental standards.

The role requires at least two years crane rigging/operations on land and barges, ability to read blueprints, use slings and load blocks, and work with a team to drive pilings and install structures safely.

Qualifications

• Two years crane rigging/operations experience required.
• Ability to read blueprints or site plans.
• Knowledge of rigging with slings, cable chokers, spreader bars, and load blocks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in unloading and assembling crane/hoisting equipment.
• Unload piledriving hammer and leads; position and drive pilings.
• Prepare pilings and assist with installation of structures.
• Set up tools and perform rigging tasks with Pile Driver Operator.
• Communicate using hand signals with crane operator.
• Participate in safety and environmental initiatives.
• Work with team to complete projects safely and efficiently.
