Job summary

Kokosing is seeking a Crane Operator with Pile Driving experience to support marine construction projects. The role requires travel between Baltimore and Norfolk, 12-hour shifts, and extended work schedules. Dredging experience is a plus but not required.

Operates lattice boom and telescopic/hydraulic cranes on projects, performs inspections, and adheres to load charts and safety procedures. NCCCO or CIC with LBC designation is required, TLL designation preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to determine weight of item being picked and check charts for crane limits.
• Must read and interpret load charts and use standard hand signals.
• Ability to calculate safe load levels from charts provided.

Responsibilities

• Checks all fluids before starting engine.
• Levels crane using cab controls and leveling bubble.
• Observes load and determines safety using load charts.
• Operates crane controls to regulate speed and direction.
• Uses hoisting attachments as needed.
• Cleans and maintains crane and hoisting mechanism.
• Inspects crane for defects and notifies supervisor.
