Job summary

Orion in Louisiana is seeking an experienced Pile Driver local to Southern Louisiana to support our field construction operations on marine and heavy civil projects throughout the region. Responsibilities include installing and extracting piling for docks, bridges, and marine terminals along the Gulf Coast.

Qualifications

• Understand the functions of diesel, air, hydraulic, and drop hammers.
• Able to read blueprints or site plans.
• Knowledge of construction rigging: slings, chokers, spreader bars, load blocks.

Responsibilities

• Support Pile Driver operations per foreman and operator.
• Assist in unloading and assembling crane and hoisting equipment.
• Unloads piling types: concrete pipe, H-piling, timber, steel sheet piling.
• Maintain and prepare piling for driving.
• Follow safety and environmental initiatives.
