Advantec Global Systems is seeking a parts sales specialist to handle marine parts inquiries and provide high levels of customer service. You will support account managers, prepare quotes, and coordinate with engineering, production, and sales to answer technical questions and confirm availability.

You will work with the supply chain to verify ship dates, enter orders accurately, and communicate any changes that affect price or delivery. Strong math and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years’ experience in a customer service or sales role.
• Excellent computer skills and knowledge of MS Office; able to learn new software.
• Able to work independently but be a strong member of a team.
• Excellent math and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Handle all marine parts sales inquiries by phone, email, fax, and the web store.
• Research and prepare parts quotes; present quotes via phone, email, or per customer requirements.
• Provide basic technical support as needed.
• Coordinate with engineering, production, and sales to respond to technical requests.
• Verify parts availability with supply chain and communicate shipping dates to customers.
• Enter parts orders accurately; ensure parts ship as promised with the supply chain.
• Finalize sales with payment and shipping instructions; inform inside team of any price/delivery changes.
• Compile weekly and monthly parts sales reports.
