Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Seven years related experience; a Bachelor’s degree may substitute for four years of related experience.
• U.S. Coast Guard Captain's License required.
• Strong knowledge of marine equipment, systems, and safety protocols.
• Demonstrated leadership and the ability to effectively manage a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead field operations (demonstrations, deployments and field tests).
• Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize vessel performance and safety.
• Source and coordinate outside contractors for field operations and manage vendor relationships.
• Coordinate movement of equipment and maintain remote storage locations.
• Lead training on operations and maintenance of marine platforms.
• Manage a team of technicians and vessel operators; supervise shop apprentices.
