Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Seven years related experience. A Bachelor's degree may substitute for four years.
• U.S. Coast Guard Captain's License.
• Strong knowledge of marine equipment, systems, and safety protocols.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to manage a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Familiarity with marine regulations and standards.
• Ability to balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and work with others.
• Extensive experience in marine operations, particularly in the deployment and management of amphibious vehicles and unmanned underwater vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead field operations with Test Director and PMs.
• Coordinate external contractors and manage vendor relationships.
• Oversee transport and storage of equipment.
• Train staff on marine operations and maintenance.
• Lead a team of technicians and shop apprentices.
• Develop and enforce marine safety program and risk assessments.
• Act as charter captain for company vessels.
• Track projects and analyze performance data.
• Ensure readiness for testing and harbor operations.
• Maintain vessel registrations and maintenance records.
• Develop SOPs for marine operations.
• Other duties as assigned.
