Job summary

Ballard Marine Construction LLC is seeking a Field Engineer Intern to support marine and heavy civil projects with both field and office experiences. You will work alongside experienced engineers, PMs, and craft professionals to learn project planning, estimating, and scheduling on complex, high‑impact projects.

This internship provides hands‑on exposure, mentorship, and opportunities to develop technical skills and leadership abilities in a safety‑driven, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited bachelor's degree program in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Must have completed at least two years of coursework by the start of the internship.
• Experience preferred but not required; strong teamwork and leadership potential are valued.

Responsibilities

• Support project planning through reviewing drawings, specifications, survey data, and project documents.
• Assist with quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and project feasibility evaluations.
• Participate in engineering and design activities for temporary work and construction planning.
