Gulfstar Industries LLC is seeking a Marine Dispatcher to coordinate the 12-hour watch logistics for unloading liquid cargo in Houston. You will schedule, prioritize workflow, and transmit assignments while maintaining records using QuickBase and MS Office.

Responsibilities include monitoring locations, dispatching personnel, relaying orders to customers and tankermen, addressing delays, and maintaining accurate files.

Qualificações

• Experience - 1-2 years of dispatch experience required.
• Self Control - Job requires being pleasant with others on the job and displaying a good-natured, cooperative attitude.
• Attention to Detail - Job requires being careful about detail and thorough in assigning orders and completed job notes.
• Stress Tolerance - Job requires accepting criticism and dealing calmly and effectively with high stress situations.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor personnel or equipment locations and utilization to coordinate service and schedules.
• Schedule and dispatch personnel to appropriate locations according to customer requests, specifications, or needs.
• Relay orders, messages, and information to or from and/or to Customer, Field Supervisor or Tankerman using telephones and two-way radios.
• Confer with customers or supervisors to address questions, problems or requests to service or equipment.
• Advise appropriate parties regarding job delays, work order discrepancies, and/or hazards.
• Record and maintain files and records of customer requests, work performed, expenses, and other dispatch related information.
