Job summary

AccuTrans Inc. is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to dispatch USCG-licensed tankermen to loading and discharging liquid tank barges shoreside. This role reports to the Houston office and serves as the voice of the company on calls with customers, tankermen, and management.

The coordinator will manage project data, execute marketing strategies during shifts, and ensure accurate entry of times, barge activities, and inspections while following company procedures.

Qualifications

• Dependable transportation.
• Ability to pass a physical/drug screen and background check.
• Logistics or dispatching experience is a plus.
• Positive attitude and friendly phone-voice is a must.
• We are a 24-hour business, and qualified candidates must be able to work 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Be the voice of the company, answering calls and dispatching to tankermen and management.
• Document, communicate, and distribute information to ensure new projects are created, finalized, and executed properly.
• Dispatch Tankerman/Dockman to firm projects.
• Enter and track Tankerman times, barge times, delays, inspections, and exceptions.
• Adhere to all procedures and policies in place.
