Job summary

Accutrans in Pasadena, TX is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to dispatch USCG‑licensed tankermen for loading and discharging liquid tank barges shoreside. The role reports to the Houston, TX office and involves coordinating with customers, tankermen, and management across a 24-hour operation.

Responsibilities include communications, project creation in the system, data entry, and execution of marketing strategies during shifts.

Qualifications

Must have dependable transportation.
Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
Logistics or dispatching experience is a plus.
Positive attitude and friendly phone voice is a must.
Must be able to work 12-hour shifts in a 24-hour operation.

Responsibilities

Be the positive, energetic voice answering incoming calls and making outbound calls to customers, tankermen, management, and others.
Document, communicates and distributes information to ensure new projects are created, finalized, and executed properly.
Execute marketing strategies during your shift, including contacting customers and boats.
Dispatch all Tankerman / Dockman to firm projects.
Data entry of Tankerman times, barge times, delays, barge inspections, notifications and exceptions for every project.
Adheres to and follows all procedures and policies in place.
