Job summary

Jobot is seeking an engineer to support the design and execution of complex marine HVAC and refrigeration projects. You will develop system layouts, perform engineering calculations, select equipment, and prepare technical documentation for shipboard installations.

Join a team that collaborates with project managers, clients, and installation crews through design, commissioning, testing and troubleshooting, providing expert guidance on shipboard HVAC systems and controls.

Qualifications

• BS in a related field is required.
• 3+ years of mechanical HVAC/R engineering experience.
• Experience designing HVAC systems for military facilities or naval facilities.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and execution of complex marine HVAC and refrigeration projects by developing system layouts, performing engineering calculations, selecting equipment, and preparing technical documentation.
• Collaborate with project managers, clients, and installation teams through design, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and project closeout, while providing technical expertise on shipboard HVAC systems and controls.
