Job summary

Jobot in Columbus, OH is seeking an experienced HVAC/R engineer to support the design and execution of complex marine HVAC and refrigeration projects.

You will develop system layouts, perform calculations, select equipment, and prepare technical documentation while collaborating with project managers, clients, and installation teams through design, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting and project closeout.

Qualifications

• BS in a related field required.
• 3+ years mechanical HVAC/R engineering experience.
• Experience in the design of HVAC systems for military facilities or naval facilities.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Inventor.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and execution of complex marine HVAC and refrigeration projects by developing system layouts.
• Perform engineering calculations, select equipment, and prepare technical documentation.
• Collaborate with project managers, clients and installation teams through design, commissioning, testing and closeout.
• Provide technical expertise on shipboard HVAC systems and controls.
