Manson Construction Co. in Jacksonville, FL, is seeking a field-focused Civil/Construction Engineer to join our Project Management Team.

You will provide onsite engineering and technical support, quality control, and construction management assistance across our marine projects. The role emphasizes hands-on problem solving, field layout planning, and collaboration with field crews, project engineers, and managers to ensure safe, compliant, and successful project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; equivalent combinations considered.
• 0-2 years of construction experience.
• Marine/structures/heavy lifts/concrete construction experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
• Basic proficiency with AutoCAD and Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, shop drawings, specs, and material requirements for quality and contract compliance.
• Maintain and distribute up-to-date plans and specifications to management, crews, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Keep accurate project documentation including daily reports and progress logs.
• Prepare daily documentation including reports, photos, and timecards.
