Job summary

Arc is seeking a hands-on Electrical Build Engineer to help propel our electric marine platform from development to production. This on-site role at our Los Angeles headquarters requires you to own wiring and system integration, collaborating with a lean team where every detail matters.

You will assemble and verify 1000V DC and 480V AC systems, build harnesses, and support sea trials and deployments. Expect up to 75% travel and a fast-paced environment built on ownership and practical problem

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with high-voltage systems.
• Familiarity with electrical communication systems (CAN, Modbus, Ethernet).
• Experience reading electrical schematics, system diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
• Experience using diagnostic tools (multimeters) to verify functionality.
• Experience building processes from inception to execution with work instructions.
• Up to 75% travel (local + remote), including dockside and on-water work environments.
• Able to stand 6-10 hours per day and lift up to 50 lbs.
• This role may require access to ITAR-regulated information and U.S. Person status.

Responsibilities

• Assembling and integrating electrical and mechanical systems
• Building and routing wire harnesses, including fiber optic cable assemblies where applicable
• Installing and terminating electrical components and communication interfaces (CAN, Ethernet, Modbus, etc.)
• Diagnosing electrical issues in 1000V DC and 480V AC systems
• Assembling pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Assembling cooling systems
• Supporting development builds and prototype systems
• Supporting sea trials, deployments, and customer-facing technical operations
• Performing root-cause troubleshooting with the ability to provide efficient resolutions
