Job summary

COVE POINTS MARINE CONSTRUCTION INC is seeking a Marine Estimator in Edgewater, FL to prepare detailed cost estimates for marine projects. You will review specs, drawings, and bid docs, solicit subcontractor quotes, analyze risks, and support bid preparation and contract reviews.

The role requires marine estimating experience, ability to read technical drawings, and strong analytical skills. Excellent teamwork and communication are essential in this on-site position.

Qualifications

5+ years experience in marine estimating or related field (or equivalent).
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specs.
Strong analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Review project specs, drawings, and bid documents.
Prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
Solicit and evaluate vendor/subcontractor quotations.
Analyze risks and develop pricing strategies.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers and operations teams.
