Job summary

The Production Painter role at Indmar Marine Engines involves daily painting of engines and components for the Production department, with minor assembly work as needed. This full-time position offers $18.00–$21.00 per hour, a daytime schedule, and benefits including health insurance, paid holidays, paid time off and a company match retirement plan.

Punctuality and good attendance are crucial; work hours are 6:00 am–4:30 pm, Monday–Thursday; reliable transportation and a valid driver's license

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum two years painting components in a production environment.
• Must operate painting and ventilation equipment safely.
• Familiar with MSDS and NIOSH regulations.

Responsibilities

• Mask components for painting.
• Prime and paint engines and parts with a spray gun.
• Start up/shut down ventilation and painting equipment.
• Flush paint lines when needed; dispose of waste properly.
• Wear and maintain PPE, including respirator; lift up to 50 pounds.
• Assist with minor engine assembly as part of production.
