Job summary

ABC Boat Docks, LLC is seeking a Marine Dock Field Technician to install, service, and repair boat lifts, docks, and waterfront equipment. This hands-on role requires mechanical aptitude, safety focus, and comfort working on or near the water in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Experience installing, servicing, or repairing boat lifts.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Basic electrical knowledge related to boat lift motors and control systems.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair boat lift systems, including electric and hydraulic lifts.
• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of boat lifts and dock equipment.
• Assist with dock and marine structure installations, modifications, and repairs.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and structural issues.
• Operate power tools, hand tools, and marine construction equipment safely.
• Read blueprints, work orders, and installation specifications.
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding service needs and project updates.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicles.
• Ensure compliance with company safety standards and marine regulations.
• Complete required documentation and service reports accurately.
