Job summary

Qualifications

• ADC accredited school completion required.
• ADCI supervisor exam passed.
• ADCI HeO2/Mixed-Gas Supervisor certification card held.
• IMCA Air Diving Supervisor/Saturation certification preferred.
• TWIC, Safegulf, Rigger, First Aid and CPR, Water Survival certificates.
• 5+ years of diving ops experience in oil & gas sectors (fabrication, construction, pipeline, interconnect piping).

Responsibilities

• Fully cognizant of all relevant governmental regulations and employer Safe Practices/Operations Manual.
• Be in immediate control during duty and execute emergency procedures.
• Direct dive team and monitor all aspects of the dive site, ready to respond to emergencies.
• Advise all masters and key personnel before diving operations; provide manual to vessel/facility PIC.
• Ensure diving operations occur from a suitable surface location; maintain safety.
• Develop or modify pre/post-dive checklists for the operation.
• Create and implement emergency/contingency procedures.
• Know medical support procedures and maintain two-way comms for emergencies.
• Perform Job Safety Analyses for each task.
• Establish a dive plan for safe and timely job completion.
• Assign and oversee all dive team duties; verify divers are fit.
• Modify procedures with management approval as needed.
• Maintain dive profiles (depth, bottom time, breathing mix).
• Ensure divers are tended at all times; report incidents per regulations.

ADC accredited school

ADCI supervisor exam

ADCI HeO2/Mixed-Gas Diving Supervisor certification
