Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Cary, NC seeks a Team Leader to guide department associates in merchandising, customer service and daily operations under the GSM/DM.

You will direct tasks, schedule staff, train teammates, maintain planograms, and ensure a friendly, efficient shopping experience while achieving sales goals. Experience in retail supervision and a high school diploma is required.

2–4 years in retail preferred; strong interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate a team are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and percentages.
• Ability to read and analyze reports.
• Ability to present information and respond to questions from managers and customers.
• Ability to conduct meetings and presentations to groups.
• Proficiency with PC-based word processing and spreadsheets.
• Experience with POS and inventory management systems.
• Strong interpersonal skills with colleagues and customers.

• Direct daily activities of department associates and merchandising.
• Support sales, gross margin, inventory shrinkage and payroll goals.
• Maintain planograms and execute merchandising directives.
