Job summary

Katmai seeks specialized personnel to provide lessons learned analyses and liaison support for Marine Corps commands as part of the Marine Corps Lessons Learned Program (MCLLP).

Responsibilities include implementing processes at designated locations, reviewing materials for proper classification, maintaining MCCLL/JLLIS content, and supporting the collection campaign through interviews and briefings for senior officials.

Qualifications

• Graduate Marine Corps Command & Staff College or Marine Corps Senior Enlisted Professional Military Education course desired.
• Must possess comprehensive knowledge of the Marine Corps, its missions, force structure, tactics, procedures, and Marine Corps systems.
• Experience on MEF or higher staff and with designated command elements or MCCLL SharePoint/JLLIS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide Lessons Learned Program Support per the MCCLL and MCLLP.
• Review and submit lessons learned materials with proper markings and classifications.
• Submit weekly situational reports and maintain MCCLL/JLLIS content.
• Develop and implement the MCCLL annual lessons learned collection campaign plan.
• Prepare briefings for senior officials on collection topics.
• Conduct interviews and document lessons learned with defined parameters.
• Attend planning conferences and support post-event reviews.
