Job summary

Katmai is seeking a seasoned analyst to provide Lessons Learned analyses and liaison support for Marine Corps commands under the MCLLP. You will implement and maintain processes, review materials for proper classifications, and manage MCCLL/JLLIS content across designated commands.

Travel up to 25% and the ability to brief senior officials on campaign topics is required. Working knowledge of MCCLL SharePoint and strong communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Graduate Marine Corps Command & Staff College or Marine Corps Senior Enlisted Professional Military Education course desired.
• Must possess comprehensive knowledge of the Marine Corps, its missions, force structure, tactics, techniques, procedures, doctrine, and Marine Corps Military systems, with expert knowledge of MAGTF operations.
• Intermediate knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
• Bachelor's degree desired.
• Experience with MCCLL SharePoint /or MCLLP desired.
• Demonstrated understanding of military operations, and experience in military operational planning.
• Ability to interact and effectively communicate with Marine Corps senior officers and executives.

Responsibilities

• Provide Lessons Learned Program Support.
• Implement and maintain lessons learned processes at each designated place of performance per regulations.
• Review and submit lessons learned materials with proper classifications (CUI) for MCCLL/JLLIS submission.
• Maintain MCCLL SharePoint/JLLIS pages for topics within designated commands.
• Submit weekly situational reports.
• Develop and implement MCCLL annual lessons learned collection campaign plan.
• Prepare and submit topics for collection based on analysis of requirements.
• Prepare mid-year review of the collection plan and solicit emerging topics.
• Prepare briefings for senior officials on collection topics.
• Develop and submit collection proposals, plans and debriefs; conduct interviews (10 focuses, 20 interviewees, 20 questions, 45 min, over 14 days).
• Utilize MCCLL SharePoint Battle board for planning and execution of campaigns.
• Provide Event Support: responses to RFIs, prepare units for exercises, collect and submit AARs.
• Attend planning conferences and support planning aspects of operations, deployments, exercises, and experiments.
• Assist in post-event hot wash reviews.
• Submit and maintain Training Exercise and Employment plans in MCCLL SharePoint (TEEPs).
• Maintain regular attendance and perform other duties as assigned.
