Textron Systems in New Orleans, LA is seeking an Installer to support Marine & Land Systems projects. You will pull cable, groom cableways, and assist with wiring components for naval crafts, following drawings and written instructions.

The role requires 1–3 years of technical experience, ability to read blueprints, and the physical capacity to lift up to 60 lbs. Overtime may be required, with safety first. Full-time position with Textron benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of technical experience.
• Able to interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Able to lift up to 60 lbs and work overtime as needed.
• Must follow safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Pull and groom cableways.
• Pack Multi Cable Transits (MCT) and band cables.
• Learn engineering drawings, sketches, blueprints, schematics and follow written/verbal instructions.
• Meet daily goals as set by supervisor and lead.
• Maintain records, forms, and logs as required.
• Use basic hand tools (screwdrivers, pliers, wire cutters, drills, etc.).
• May instruct and mentor less-experienced team members.
• Uphold safe work practices and safety policies.
