Brunswick’s Boston Whaler assembly team seeks a qualified assembler to read technical drawings and assemble boat components with precision. You’ll fit hulls, decks and cabins, using hand and power tools to exact tolerances while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

The role emphasizes teamwork across technicians, engineers and designers, strict adherence to work instructions, and consistent documentation of assembly steps.

Qualifications

• Required: High school diploma or GED or 1+ year related experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand tools and measuring instruments
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and work orders
• Committed to quality and safety, with good attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to assemble boats
• Assemble hulls, decks, cabins, bulkheads, and other components
• Ensure proper alignment and fitment using hand and power tools and precision instruments
• Perform quality checks and address defects with QA team
• Adhere to safety protocols and report safety concerns
• Collaborate with teammates, technicians, engineers and designers
• Maintain and care for tools and equipment; keep a clean work area
• Support process improvements and lean initiatives
• Document assembly steps and modifications as required
• Adhere to regulations and quality standards to meet requirements
