Job summary

TopSide Marinas in Wisconsin is seeking a Service Advisor to join our team. The role focuses on selling service and maintenance work, managing estimates, and coordinating with parts and mechanics to ensure timely, quality results for marina customers.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate integrity and a positive attitude.
• Two years of applicable experience are required.
• Experience with engines and parts used in maintenance is preferred.
• Ability to meet physical requirements and work efficiently.
• Ability to collaborate in a team and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Sell service and maintenance work to customers in person, by phone, and electronically.
• Sell upgrades and improvements to customers.
• Document and write customer work orders and enter them in the computer.
• Obtain customer approval prior to starting work and determine payment method.
• Estimate mechanical and electrical repair costs upon request.
• Coordinate with parts to order items after estimates and manage shop flow.
• Review and approve customer and warranty billings.
• Work with mechanics and management to ensure timely completion of work.
• Promote safety procedures and maintain an organized, clean, and safe workspace.
• Assist in training personnel and refer leads to relevant departments.
