Job summary

Suntex Marinas in Dania Beach, FL is seeking a Maintenance Associate to keep Harbour Towne marina facilities clean, safe and functional. You will inspect, repair and service equipment and building systems, and interact with guests to resolve maintenance requests.

This full-time, on-site role requires basic handyman skills, ability to read manuals, and the stamina to lift and perform physical tasks; flexibility for weekends/holidays is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have highly effective communication skills and time management skills.
• Ability to read and utilize technical manuals and drawings.
• Prior maintenance experience preferred, not required.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g. ventilation).
• Provide the highest level of customer and guest services, expediting maintenance requests from management.
• Perform minor fixes such as repairing broken locks, filling gaps on walls, and other marina-specific duties.
• Use hand tools and power tools in making minor maintenance repairs and maintaining grounds and walks.
