Job summary

Guest Services, Inc. seeks a Recreation General Manager to lead a marina and related operations in a dynamic team environment.

You will direct the management team, drive customer service excellence, and oversee events, rentals, retail and property operations while meeting financial goals. Responsibilities include forecasting, budgeting, staff leadership, safety, and ensuring high-quality guest experiences across facilities, docks, and grounds.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of management experience in boating/marine contexts.
• Boating/marine experience is preferred.
• Ability to swim.
• CPR/First Aid Certification.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and develop daily operations; forecast sales, labor and profit; ensure budget compliance.
• Recruit, supervise, train, schedule, discipline, review, and direct staff.
• Maintain accounting records, daily reporting, and cash control; manage P&L.
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve complaints.
• Maintain safe facilities and oversee maintenance and upkeep of equipment and grounds.
• Represent the company professionally with clients, guests, vendors.
• Ensure docks and grounds-keeping; manage preventive maintenance and vessel scheduling.
• Report safety issues to management.
