Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in marina operations, dock management, boating, or related waterfront environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of recreational boating, docking procedures, and marina safety.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily dock operations to ensure a safe, organized marina experience.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for marina customers, boaters, guests, and visitors.
• Provide hands-on assistance with vessel arrivals and departures, docking, line handling, and slip assignments.
• Coordinate daily slip activity and communicate docking instructions and marina procedures to customers and guests.
• Supervise, schedule, train, and direct dockhands and seasonal marina staff.
• Maintain professionalism, responsiveness, and customer service across the dock team.
• Monitor docks, slips, utilities, equipment, and common areas for maintenance or safety concerns.
• Enforce marina rules, boating safety procedures, and company policies.
• Monitor weather and waterfront conditions and communicate operational concerns as needed.
• Assist boaters with shore power, water connections, and marina services.
• Respond to customer questions and operational concerns promptly.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams and vendors for repairs and operational needs.
• Support seasonal marina openings and closings, including winterization.
• Maintain marina logs, records, and incident reports.
• Assist with marina events and Harbor Point initiatives.
• Collaborate with property management, security, and maintenance for safe operations.
• Assist with emergency response and marina safety procedures.
