Job summary

Brunswick Corporation, home of Freedom Boat Club, is seeking a dockside team member in Florida. You will greet members, assist with check-in/out, perform vessel checks and keep logs, while ensuring safety and professional communication on outdoor docks.

The role is full-time, outdoors on marina docks near the water, requiring availability on weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Compensation starts at $15 per hour with a strong benefits package and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• Have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to regularly perform physical tasks including bending, kneeling, balancing and carrying equipment up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to read and manipulate handheld tablets.
• Availability to regularly work weekdays, weekends and holidays.
• Adhere to all safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
• Anticipate and address guests’ service needs.
• Thank guests with genuine appreciation.
• Make and answer telephone calls using appropriate etiquette.
• Manage the check-in and check-out process using a handheld tablet.
• Perform equipment checks to ensure functionality on board.
• Clean and maintain vessels and Club location according to standards.
• Complete daily clerical work to prep reservation system, fuel logs and weather reports.
• Familiarize yourself with local waters to provide basic guidance to members.
• Speak with others using clear and professional language.
